Magic

I'm currently watching the blue Orlando Magic final championship game. I hope they win this one, seeing as they have lost the last two to the Lakers.

The Dynamo have been doing well this season. Tomorrow they will play against the Chivas, and even though it will be a home game, the Dynamo will need to perform their best against the current #1 seed this season.

Anyway I'm off, I should be studying instead of watching the game.

A New Era

When I found out it was such a scary feeling I felt. But the way you feel when something new is about to happen, when you have those butterflies in your stomach, or when you feel nervous. I was afraid because it's something so new and completely heart pounding. I feel like I live in a different country. I am very patriotic and I love my America, and I never thought I could love it so much more. I live in a new world a new country with new beginnings ready to emergy. It's frightening but in a good way. I hope in the next four years Obama and Congress can lead the US outside Iraq and Afghanistan, and rescue us from the strangling ropes of a failing economy. Thank you American voters, all of you, every single one, every American citizen!

Why a tie feels like a win!

I thought the Dynamo did a phenomenal job today. Playing on artificial turf for the Houston Dynamo is never easy, but the Orange definitely came out on top. They did better with the ball's possession than they have done before at the Giants Stadium.

At the 48th minute Juan Pablo Angel opened the scoring by diving in a header past Onstad. Yet the Dynamo knew it wasn't over yet. Dom, the great coach that he is, subbed in Cameron, Holden, and Kamara. I have no idea how he does it, but those choices were brilliant. These great reserves brought fresh legs to the game.

And we tied it up by Ching bringing itto the 18 yard box, passed it to Barret, he kicked it to Holden, who assisted Kei's goal! I jumped up and down screaming like crazy, hugging my brother like there was no tomorrow! At the 85th minute, this team never fails to surprise me. The Dynamo give it their all the whole 90+.

Never say die!

As for other soccer news, I didn't get a chance to watch the Barcelona game. I did, however, get a chance to see the highlights, and boy was it WET!

There were literally pools of water all around the field, and the 6 yard box was embedded with mudd. Slip and sliding is what I mostly witnessed, but of course Barcelona came out 4-1.

Messi scored a powerful goal from about 12 yards past Malaga's reach. He is so awesome! I just watched an interview on Barca TV, he seems humble and shy, but you never know these soccer players have an overflowing amount of groupies.

Either way, Barca's players are amazing. Back to the Dynamo!

Playoff semifinal is 11/09/2008 at 2pm, and I hope we can lock this up and move on to the Western Conference Final. I'll make sure to bring plenty of ORANGE STREAMERS!

I love you Naranja!

3 for 3 at 3

The Houston Dynamo are three games away from their third MLS Cup Championship. If the Dynamo are able to win the MLS Cup finals, this team will become the first ever to win three MLS Cups consecutively.

Of course, writing history is not going to be that easy. The Men in Orange will begin their quest today at 3PM central time. They will play against the New York Red Bulls at the Giants Stadium wanting nothing but a result. Although this Orange Army has never won a game in New York, anything can happen as Brian Ching, Dwayne DeRosario, and Pat Onstand will start the lineup.

As long as goals are not given, and their backline consists of a very strong defense, we should be in great shape towards winning the semifinal run. And just as the Dynamo have not won in the Bull's home, neither have they at the place of Orange.

Personally, I can't wait for 3Pm today, about 3 hours to go. 3 for 3 at 3! La Naranja!!
